Is it true that 2007 models when they have the key turned to parking position the standby and rear light stay on?

What would happen whey you do a jump start?

Thanks.

What is the standby light?

On my X1, there is a smaller bulb in the headlight and the tail light.

On my 2008 XB12X, just the tail light comes on. Is there supposed to be a front light too?

Every bike has lights that come on when parked. Not all US bikes have a front light, but EU regulations require one.

"Is it true that 2007 models when they have the key turned to parking position the standby and rear light stay on?" It is.

"What would happen whey you do a jump start?" Nothing as you would be switching it to engine run.

All US bikes have the SOCKET for the "park" light, though. Just put a bulb in it if you want to have front lights in "park".

I put a red bulb in my red Uly...but I don't think anyone else knows it's there...hard to see with the HID's there.
