Author Message   Pnw_uly Posted on Wednesday, May 11, 2011 - 11:19 am:        Anyone consider the Pirelli MT-21 Rallycross rear tire in size 120/90R-17 size for a front knobby? Realize the height will be a little off ("90" vs. "70" aspect ratio), and may require removing the center portion of the front fender, but any tire experts out there have an opinion? Its tubeless and DOT, priced under $80. I'm running a week-long offroad trip (WA Backroads Discovery Route) this summer and I just don't think the Pirelli MT-60R is going to be the best option up front. Mileage is not a concern. I had found a real good dot approved front but I don’t remember what it was. Just don't think any tires with knobbies are set up as 120/70-17, either front or rear...
