Thanks for the time and effort of putting together the report with pics Blackdog. I can't wait for the day when I can take a couple weeks, go out west and explore all the nooks n crannies it has to offer. Keep that Uly goin! |

Saw a new (to me) throttle lock on the PNW site that looks interesting. http://www.2wheelride.com/index.html |

Great write up. Thanks also for showing what the XT can do with street tires. |

Hey Blackdog...you have inspired me to check out your adventures when we hit AZ again this winter...trailering the Uly. I see you were a GS1200 guy once as per your user name on PNWriders. Got a comparison for us? |

Hey Blackdog...you have inspired me to check out your adventures when we hit AZ again this winter...trailering the Uly. I see you were a GS1200 guy once as per your user name on PNWriders. Got a comparison for us? I have both a 1200GS and XB12XT. The XT is much smaller than the GS and therefore easier to load in the back of a truck, this is why I had it in AZ. Although I did ride the XT to Mexico in May the GS is the better choice. I love the bikes equally but the GS does most everything better. |
