I have to much voltage 15.4 v. at battery. replaced the voltage regulator no help any other ideas. new stator? 2008 uly motor light on. what other yrs will fit if its a stator. or will a HD fit?

I've had to replace a stator for a no-charging issue (HD Electraglide), but I don't think a bad stator will cause high voltage. They will either short or open circuit, both result in low or no volts. How accurate is your volt meter? Have you compared it to 1 or 2 others just to see if it reads the same?
