AND......has anyone used the 2" risers?? If so, did you have enough cable or did you have to get longer ones????

I have an 08 XT with the Kaoko throttle lock and Rox 2" risers.
The throttle lock works, but it does take a while to get it set just where you want it most times. It gets easier the more you use it. I can't really say that it helped with vibrations though as I put it on right after I got the bike.
The Rox risers are great. Only thing I had to do as far as cables go was disconnect the front brake line clamp behind the headlights. YMMV depending on how you set the risers. I 5'7" and my shoulders appreciate the new bar position.
Good luck with it.

+1 on the Kaoko as a throttle lock. The bar ends are only 5oz or so but do tone down the vibrations. I like the way the end screws clamp the handguard more securely. Also, If you epoxy a thin SS washer to the hand guard 'split' end it wont come off in a tip over. Don't forget to use a light grade (non permanent) of locktite on the end screws - one of mine jumped ship. I used the 1" precision engineering bar risers - no cable rerouting required. I'm 5'8" and was enough to set me straight. Happy trails. j
