I read some interesting posts on louder horns for the Uly. Some people installed the Stebel Nauticus. A 139 db dualtone airhorn. So the search was on. I found a Wolo 419 dual tone air horn and compared it to the Stebel. What The ...., It was the same horn. Just different stickers and badging, Came from the same country (not China) I know who carries Wolo. Scourge of all tools cheap, Harbour Freight. I drive a mile to the one near me and the 419 is on sale for 34.99. Pretty easy install, Not as loud as the horn in my Jeep but it is up there. I like two tone horns.

Ourdee- Cool find. One caution though, IIRC there were some posts here about these horns self-destructing if the unit isn't mounted with the compressor section oriented vertically (90 CCW from how yours is mounted). If that's true, hopefully someone will chime in.

Yeah, my Stebel Nautilus came with a warning that it must be mounted vertically.

"Mount the horn vertically when possible."
Thats what it said for mine. If it wears itself out I'll put a compressor under the seat and run a hose to it. I used the dremel to cut the mounting lug off of it to reduce the weight.

I find that my Stebel sometimes loses one of the tones on the horn...still frickin' loud, but some days I don't get the full effect. I'll have to see if it's a cold weather thing.

Hooper, Funny you said that. It's cold here today and I went out to the garage and fired it off. I'm bored. It sounded like only one tone. Yea it was still loud.

Right back at ya' Ourdee...it was almost 60 today in the DC area and my Stebel was once again in perfect two-tone harmony. I was almost HOPING for some zombie car driver/texter to drift into my lane so I could blast them.

ALMOST...

So, it may be a temperature thing. I LOVE that horn.
