I posted a similar message on the XBoard, but thought I'd ask it here too: Does the '08 TT come with the offset forks of the Ulysses to allow more steering lock, or is the Ulysses the only model with that improvement? I'm looking at an '07 TT and the salesman didn't know the answer to the question, he had no '08 brochures left, and I couldn't find the answer on the Buell website. I did test ride the Ulysses and liked it, but it seems the major differences between the Ulysses and TT are things that make the Ulysses more touring capable, and I don't need touring capability in this bike, so why pay the extra $$$? Thank you, now I see it - axle position is a dead giveaway. So, if I don't mind resetting the TPS occasionally, any reason to not buy the '07? I'm not certain how much difference the oiling/crankpin size difference is going to make to the longevity of a street ridden bike, and I'm not convinced having the cams, etc., ride in the cases instead of bushings is an improvement. Seems like these things are pretty durable as is. |
