Yea, paint for the bags and the wind deflector. I have to do the chin and tail sections to complete it.

*Hopefully* it'll have a XBRR like fairing before Christmas : )

Those low-res pictures don't do it justice. It looks very clean up close. The downside to the stock XB fender is size,,,it needs to be 20% to 25% larger. Al Lighton mocked one up sometime ago but it never made it to production.

I have to find a clean way of filling in the blank space under the headlights. I tried a 12R fairing and it too is just not big enough. I'm hopeful that I'll have a race take-off RR fairing that needs some *minor* repairs -- I gotta do some cutting anyway.

Oh well,,,it's all part of the fun/game. I go over a look at CJburr's work and immediately know that I'm strictly minor league : )

Bigdaddy, if you want I can get pricing on an RR fairing. They have them in stock as of Friday when I talked to them last.

Josh,

I'm interested, for sure, but I'm pretty sure I'll get a race take-off very soon. I'm most curious about the pricing points for the race stuff. That big front end would make a perfect UlyST : )
