i have a Widder heated vest with BMW Powerlet plug and Rheostat. Anyone know if I can buy this and run it off the front/rear cigarette outlet? http://search.ebay.com/cigar-powerlet-adapter_W0QQfrppZ50QQfsopZ1QQmaxrecordsret urnedZ300 Reason I ask is Powerlet says some cigar outlets aren't rated to handle the heated vests. Suppose the other option is to run it off the battery tender plug using a different adapter. anyone done this? which one is better? |

I have a Gerbing heated Jacket and Gloves...I tried running if off the battery tender but it blew the fuse as it is rated too low..You can run the plug adapter straight off the battery like I do on the Harley or use cigarette plug on the ULY which handles it fine..Basically the battery tender wire won't handle it. |

Use the gerbing harness on the battery & you can plug your battery tender right into it.Been using this setup for 6 yrs now. |
