I wanted to mount only the top case too. He said the rack he is showing goes on the top of the case to put additional stuff on. He said Hepco & Becker only provided the bags to Buell and Buell actually makes the racks themselves. He indicated that H&B is contractually prohibited from making and selling the racks. However, SW-MOTECH is working on a top case rack and side racks for the Uly based on their Quick-Lock system. He said it looked like late spring or early summer before they would be ready.. unless he had some 'proof' that there was a good demand.. he could use that to press SW-MOTECH to move faster. (just an fyi.. I have not affiliation to TWisted Throttle or SW-MOTECH). So, if we either collected a list of interested parties or emailed him at TWisted Throttle asking about it... it might speed things up. I am looking for a mounting bracket to put the HB aluminum topcase on my Buell. Thanks for your time. Reply: "That is the rack that should fit your bike". Hmmm. I tend to believe the guy that Gamdh talked to, because HB doesn't even list the mounting brackets on their website. Also I can't believe Buell would contract HB to make the cases and then let them undermine sales by producing and selling the mounts themselves. Thanks Gamdh, you saved me a big headache. It goes on the lid of the topbox for additional straped on luggage. it is not a mount for the topbox.
