Hey guys, So i was lucky enough to cross off a bucket list item for me and go to the Isle of Man TT races last week. Needles to say it was absolutely amazing. Those guys are nuts and the race is even better in person. One of the best parts tho is that the pits are open to anybody. So you can just walk around all of the trailers and work shops and see them tearing down the bikes and working on them between races. Well, as i was walking around going nuts, i turn the corner and to my surprise there was an EBR tent! I talked to them for a while and they were super cool dudes. Here are a couple pictures.

Lucky dog....I've been trying to go for 3 years now but my employer keeps getting in my way. How did you plan it? Did you have to book a year in advance? Inquiring minds and all that...

If you like walking around pits (I certainly do) Moto America at barber motorsports park in Alabama is the same way. They let you tool around the pits the whole weekend.

I was lucky to say the least. The wife and i have been wanting to do a 2 week backpacking trip of western europe for a while so i made sure to have the trip fall on the TT races. You basically fly into dublin and then take a ferry to the island. Unfortunately i was not able to sleep on the island because they were all booked up and most places have a 5 night min. I would say if you wanna go book everything, ferries, rooms all of that atleast 9 months in advance.

Yes I heard it takes booking a year in advance to get the whole week in. That's the problem. My employer has a contractual right to make us take our vacation in July. They don't always do it but they don't let us know soon enough for me to plan the IOMTT. Sucks. Glad you got to experience it. I'll get there one day.

Consider the Manx GP in August.
