Just noticed this today and found other pics on the internet of same issue.

The left fairing near the headlight does not sit flush. Right side fits perfect. I notice if I remove the fastener on the frame it then aligns perfect. It seems like the hole in the left fairing is drilled about 1/4 inch off and cause the fairing to flex and distort when you fasten it. Either that or the fastener tab is attached to the frame slightly off. The left fairing was also rubbing the frame since it sits slightly lower and tighter than the right so I sand it down a little bit with 100 grit paper to make sure the powder coat didn't wear off.

Yellow bike is mine ... and a picture of the fastener that if you remove you will see it then aligns properly.

The red bike is a 1190rx I googled and has the same issue.

Mine is similar but opposite. Right side sat too close to frame and rubbed. No real headlight alignment issue. Just rubbing. Also rubbed at clutch banjo bolt. Didn't have a cut out.
