He definitely rode more carefully to protect himself and it sounds like his stamina was down quite a bit as well. He also mentions there's a rule change this year that allows the cams to be changed which the other manufacturers have taken advantage of. Bad news- the EBR teams haven't taken advantage of this yet. Good news- the reason is the factory engineers have been busy working on the new EBR production bikes and haven't had time to work on improved cams.
