I'm working in northern BC between Fort Saint John and Fort Nelson. The scenery is spectacular. I fully understand why the trip to Alaska is on the to do list of so many riders.

I haven't had the opportunity myself but folks I'm working with tell me the short side trip to the falls on the Sikanni Chief River at mile 171 on the Alaska Highway is worthwhile.
