Dave, will you be able to get a bike? If so, what day would be best for your schedule? |

I will have a Buell to ride. Sunday night I think will work best for everyone? Sunday is the 23rd. |

January 23rd is now marked on my calendar. Now I'm forced to have my conversion done by then. |

I'm taking the Buell to the dealer on Friday for an oil leak. If I get it back in time I can ride this weekend...otherwise I will have to ride the R6. |

Dago and I rode over 300 miles today - absolutely perfect weather! It's supposed to get COLD tomorrow - I'll set up another ride when the weather gets better. Thanks, Dago! Good times! |

Hey guys, big toy run tomorrow (sunday). Two groups, one meeting in Dallas, one in Ft. Worth, both ride to the Arlington convention center. I'll be going to the Ft. Worth meeting spot. I'm on a black '03 XB9S, stock, with a yellow stripe around the wheels. Yellow jacket, yellow helmet. Come find me! Here's the link for meeting times, places, etc: http://www.thebigtexastoyrun.com/ |

COOL!!! Another DFW Bueller (added to the list)! Jared, it appears you live in Arlington and go to TTech, correct? You must be home for the holidays. You'll have to let us know when you'll be in town so we can ride! Wish I could go, but I've gotta fly to OKC at 3PM today. Darn it - the weather looks great today, too!!! Have fun! Dago, didja make it home in time for your girl's party? (Message edited by rpmchris on December 19, 2004) |

Yup, live in Arlington, go to TTech. I'll be in DFW till Jan 9th, and I rode the bike here. Let's ride. |

Yes, Chris. I made it...by the hair on my chiny-chin-chin. Sometimes a woman's indecision on what to wear can work in your advantage. We were late to the party. But at least I wasn't being waited on. The traffic on that last leg down I-30 was HORRIBLE. That sure was one hell of a ride! We need to do it again, soon. -- |

Cameron (Clown) told me this passed weekend he will be meeting up with Daves and Blake at the show. I'm jealous. |

We'll definitely ride again soon. I'm getting a new back tire and a few warranty things done, and I'm ready! Dave, I gained tremendous confidence and learned alot riding behind you! Also, you saved my butt on Saturday - my high-speed flat could've been real trouble, and being out there alone would've made it worse. Thanks again! DFW Buellers - don't go away! There's more info coming soon on a group ride! |

I'm glad I was there too. But that's what it's all about, IMO. After all, the ride was MUCH more memorable with the flat. I've never seen a tire look quite like that so quickly. Did you wind up telling your wife about it? I'll post some pics of our ride tomorrow morning. I especially like the one of you on your knees staring at your flat tire. Does anyone know of a better stretch than Hwy 4 in our area (150 mile radius)? |

LOL - yeah, the wife knows I had a flat and that I had help, but not necessarily how fast we were riding when it occurred! I'd like to keep the bike, afterall...

Chris, is your warranty work something the rest of us need to know about? Dago, it’s hard to beat Hwy 4 but I know of other good roads south and west of the metroplex, but I’m not familiar with the roads north or east of the metroplex. Surprisingly the last 3 long rides I’ve been on have been around Kerrville. Maybe in spring we can arrange a DFW does Kerrville weekend. If possible wait till I can ride next time y’all come this way and I’ll work up a nice route. Do y’all have access to a trailer? With the days so short, trailering a bike helps extend the length of your ride and reduces the gear you’ll need. As for protocol should we move this discussion to the Storm Fronts section under Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex Buellers? |

Let's all just ignore this thread, and post in Storm Fronts as you have suggested. |
