Bill How many times do I have to tell you, try snowmobiling. Or do you think it is still too dangerous? Keep in mind I know how you ride (like it's stolen, flogging it like a mule). Cheers buddy | ||

I have always figured Skiing was way too dangerous as I like my legs in one piece. I'd much rather ride up the side of the hill on the DR650 which is not as intimidating. | ||

Buy an old xr-75 or 100, stud up the tires with screws and let her rip... great on frozen ponds and such. if you don't have fun you must be doing something wrong. | ||

I saw ice racing recently on TV and it looks like a lot of fun ..something to do in the Northern winters ...does anybody know of any venues in the Northeast where these meetings go on. | ||

Skiing is awesome. If you know what you are doing it won't mess up your leg but there is always that outside chance. The trick is if you feel you are about to fall just lay over on your side so you can control the fall and protect your knees. If you fall and have no control your knees are at the mercy of the gods. | ||

Buelluk; read the Motorcyclist's Post. They should be posting schedules for ice racing soon. there are usually a few events through out the Northeast every winter. | ||

I have been skiing over 15 years now and snowboarding for 5. While I was in High School I became a cerified ski instructor for a small resort near my home. It's the only thing that I like about snow. Gotta have something to do when I can't ride my Buell! |
