The Thunderbolts, Erik's band, is playing at Thunder Mountain H-D in Ft. Collins, CO this Saturday from 12 to 2PM! In case anyone in that area wanted to know and go hear the band or talk to Erik. Other bands there and other entertainment. Thunder Mountain is a chopper store, but heck, it's motorcycles! |

I've only seen a couple of passing references to Erik's band here. Just curious- who else is in the band, what kind of music do they play, how long have they been playing, etc.? Is Erik a music-gear-head too? |

Yeah, besides, that high mountain atmosphere sucks for music. Sea level is much better. |

I agree with Blake, However you must be near a SEA!!!!! The air is so clean and crisp up here it hurts. |

I made a few calls when I saw this posted in the Storm Fronts section last night. There will be some Buellers there. Newfie, We do a pretty good clean and crisp up here at 9,600 feet above sea level. Kim |

We have a small contingent of Colorado Thunder Clubs riders scrambling to get up to Ft. Collins for the concert. Does anyone know of any other public appearances EB has planned in CO this weekend? One of our members would like to meet him, but he's stuck at work till 2pm on Saturday |

I don't know what air you are breathing Newfie but it ain't here in Denver! I can't even jog downtown without gagging on air. I live in Golden and you can't even see downtown through the haze. That is the crisp carbon monoxide hurting you there. |

Whodom, It's a three piece blues band. Ed Schenk (Buell IS manager) on drums, Vince Orange (manages one of the H-D P&A departments) on bass, and Erik on guitar. Songs by SRV, Tommy Castro, ZZ Top, Buddy Guy, etc. as far as music is concerned. Erik doesn't have any other official appearances, but is staying overnight Saturday night so will probably be available later for a beer and conversation or something. |

I didn't bring my camera, which is sad...there were a bunch of Hooter's Girls present and a bikini bike wash at hand. I coulda burned a lot of film! If anyone from the group got pics, I'll know the first Tuesday of October. I'll keep ya posted. I did get to meet EB briefly before the concert. He was very friendly and good natured. I gave him a Colorado Thunder Club patch, too (forgot to bring him a club t-shirt). We had 10 odd CTC members make it to the event throughout the day. Not only does EB play guitar, he sings too! |
