Visited Flint River HD in Albany, Georgia yesterday to demo an XB and get the sling bag. I was pleasantly surprised that the sales rep encouraged me to go ahead and really wring an XB9S out pretty hard. He picked out some pretty curvey roads and let me have at it. He didn't seem upset (or surprised) at the wheelies, either. The best part is my father accompanied me on the 100 mile ride to the dealership and they gave him a sling bag too. He wouldn't ride the XB because he couldn't bend his knees enough without being uncomfortable - the older sales guys understood.

The sling bags are pretty cool. I didn't think it'd be appropriate while on the bike, but it actually works pretty well. I'm giving the extra bag to my girlfriend. I think she's on to me about all the stuff I've been giving her with a Buell logo it. She thinks I've been paying for it...

My bag ripped yesterday. The fabric is really weak. Glad I didn't pay for it!!

Glad you added the second sentence about "fabric"! When I read the first sentence I thought something really bad had happened!

I got a bag few wknds ago from Flint River. If you're thinking of getting a Buell (or HD), I recommend Flint River without any reservation. I've bought 3 bikes from them over the years,and have always been treated like a king. Great dudes, greater service.

The sales rep at Flint River said it's their policy that all HDs are sold at MSRP.

I just got mine from Livermore Buell Harley. Where did your sling packs rip?

I got my sling bag @ HD/Buell of Ft. Washington. I enjoyed the demo on the new Buell, but I'll stick with my tube frame Buell.
BTW, Have you seen what these sling bags are going for on ebay?
One sold for $41. plus shipping!!!!!
