I've got a broken exhaust stud on my M2 and it is $107.50 to buy here in Canada. Money is tight as I'm also doing the top end on my '79 Bonnieville so if anyone is willing to loan or rent me a Jim's tool I would really appreciate it.

Thanks,

Wesley

I have one sitting there doing nothing but have no idea how much it would cost to ship from 45429 (Dayton, Ohio)

I'm in Canada, postal code B4B 1S5. I would gladly cover postage if willing. Usually US Priority International Mail is what I request when buying smaller parts from ebay as it is quick, fairly cheap and reliable. UPS is not friendly to us Canadians! My email is wblair@eastlink.ca if willing.

pm me your actual address. I will shoot it to you by the end of the week. I will let you know as soon as I do how much the shipping was.

Bryan; don't use UPS. I sent a package to Newfie a few years ago, and they tacked on a $50.00 service fee because it was going to Canada.
Oh, when you make out the Customs declaration form, make sure you mark it as a gift, otherwise Wesley could get stuck paying Duty.

Same thing between the US & Europe.

F*** Useless Parcel Service, their rivals are no better either.

They try to claim customs duty for the government & stick you for a service charge at the same time. I always tell them "Show me a contract that I signed with your company & I'll pay you, if the customs people want their money they can ask & I'll pay them direct, Goodbye!"

I've even had them try to withhold my goods til I paid them, they changed their tune when I walked in to their depot office, cell phone in hand & informed them that if I didn't get my package right now I would be calling the police to report them for theft & illegal restraint of goods & anything else I could think of before the coppers arrived.

Sorry rant over, but I really HATE those chiselling bastards.

Stick with the Post, & keep those aliens employed.
I saw a documentary about it, I think it was called MIB-2.

Thanks for the advice guys, I guess simply for the customs card advice it is a good thing that I didn't get my lazy/busy butt to the post office today and plan on getting there tomorrow.

Looks like I'm next up with a broken exhaust stud. Anyone in metro Detroit have one they can loan out, or be willing to ship from elsewhere? TIA

Kurt
