Author Message   Barker Posted on Saturday, March 07, 2009 - 09:43 pm:        My Luck: Soooooooooo, I'm in Alaska shoot'n the Iditarod and I find out my local guide rides a ULY! (in their very brief riding season) What are the odds! We will be hanging for the next few weeks. We will not be able to ride Buells together but we will be riding our snow machines and helicopters together. BadWeb Celebrities: So, I ask the question "Are you on badweb?" He responds "Yeah, kinda" He is on badweb alot, but as intense lurker. He does not post or even have a account, but he reads alotta badweb. He also frequently lurks other bike forums. He even goes on to recall some memorable badweb threads. He also mentions he likes Dr Greg's and Crusty's threads, but he really likes reading Ft_bstrd's posts the most. I told him I have met fatty in person. His jaw dropped. I also told him that I even ride with Fatty on a regular basis. I think a lot of people are lurkers like I was for many years. I enjoy threads by Ft B and Dr Greg also. I really like pics of travels or mods which they both provide along with good write ups. When we are unable to ride, living in Alaska or deployed overseas, that is all the entertainment needed. I remember reading about the 20th anniversary of Buell and the introduction of the XBs, while deployed, with great interest. Ft Bastard a Bad Web Celebrity? You bet! I think my days off will just coincide with the whole weekend. Departure from Smoky Mountain HD/BUELL: Friday AM kickstands up at 10AM or earlier- 411/360/165/68/339/315/30/64/68/60 With a couple of gas stops, we should have enough time to set up camp. Actually I'd love to leave Thursday, but I'm just time/distance shootin my best guesses.
