I heard a while back that all Buell wheels, 03 to current are silver with a polished lip under the powder coating.... ( like the original 03 wheels) Can anyone confirm this? I'd like to get the polished lip on the black wheels to show up. You'll end up with a ratty edge on the paint/clearcoat. I'd suggest that if you are planning to polish the lip, go ahead and have the wheels powercoated.
