Yep! I do ingest the occasional diet root beer and diet 7up(yecch mostly). I usually wash them down with water.

Been starting to do some aerobic stuff on the 'Gazelle' walker thingy.

Thanks for the support folks. I'm feeling exhausted from a full nights sleep thanks to the return of sleep apnea. I know mine is caused primarily from being over a certain weight. I've gained a lot in 2 months I know, but I've not been on the scales to know how much. I can tell by my looks and the waist line overpowering my larger pants. I was down to my 34 waist jeans in the summer. Now I can hardly breathe in my 36 waist jeans.

I started P90X right after Thanksgiving. WOW, is it tough. I'm not doing it everyday but alternating it with treadmill or elliptical work and taking one day off per week.

I've got to try to keep up with Rocco and Schmitty this coming race season so this is the cheapest and heathiest way to do it!!

I already started. After spending my usual, obligatory 8 days at the in-laws (3 days in a row, I didn't even leave the house and bathed out of obligation), I ballooned up to 244lbs.

I'm back down to 235lbs and going for 200.

I hope to be able to change my handle from Fat Bastard to Fort Bastard because I'll be built like a Brick Shite House. : D

I should gain the 3.5 horsepower that my first Briggs and Stratton powered go-kart had.

I've been hanging around 206 for the last few weeks. Now that the holiday food fests are gonna be behind us time to get serious again.

For those who don't know, April of 2008 I weighed in at 321. Started Nutrisystem and have lost 115 pounds. The original goal was 190, but I'm now shootin for 180 by riding season (April of this year).

Thanks, but I ain't got there yet. The weight has come off, but I really need to start working on getting the body fat % down. I plan on getting an exercise bike when I get the cash and use it while I'm in my winter hibernation.

Thanks to overactive metabolism I'm starting the year at an even 140.

My goal is 160 lbs. by 01JAN2010

I sympathize with anyone who has to work hard to change their weight - it takes just as much work from us small people!

I'm off to drink some protein & eggs then hit the gym

Way to go Ben! And I say that to encourage your ongoing work to attain your goals. I managed to lose about 50 pounds a few years ago and know how hard it can be. I'm not sure how soon I can find a scale to weigh myself so I can establish my starting point. I do want to get back into my size 34 jeans. To get back to 200 pounds would be good, but 190 would be even better.

I may regret this but I'm on board. On 1 Jan 2009 my morning weight was 196. I'd like to get down into the 175 - 180 range.

I just finished todays' workout, the Cardio X DVD of P90X.

When I started this program I was 212, due to my broken wrist this fall, I was unable to do anything active for over 10 weeks. I just want to get below 200, if I can get anything under that, it'll be a bonus!

O.K., I've put it on the web so I've now got to stay committed!!

I'm beat! It's time for a shower and a nap.

Ralph-
You're 212? No way. If figured with you chasing all your kids around you wouldn't have any trouble. How many are there, 25?

I still laugh when I think back when I was a runner in high school and only weighed 135#.

That's why I'm working so hard, right now!! When I broke my wrist, my cast kept me from riding my bicycle, running or working out with the Cross Country kids.

With 6 weeks in a cast and 5 weeks of P.T. behind me, I'm just now able to put my full weight on it with a brace on. Now my other hand is on the mend as I had surgery on my little finger, which I dislocated in the same mishap, on Christmas Eve. I start rehab on it tomorrow!

That's why I'm working on cardio type work right now but as my hands get better I'll do more weight work.

Moral of the story? Crashing Sucks!!!

yea, when I was running in H.S. (4:26 miler) and college I would have never believed I'd ever weigh over 170lbs!!

Alright, Dan, we gotta keep each other honest on and on track
285 this morning, and at 5-6, I am sure the doctors are less than happy.

And to be clear the motor is still turning the same HP, its that the power to WEIGHT ratio is better and the bike doesnt have to pull as much effort to move chunky butt.

I am in too. Currently 6'0 and 243 and would like to be down to 200-210. Adding cardio and eating less bad food to my routine. Hope it works because I hate cardio but love weightlifting.

I'm in this time. I'll weigh in the morning. I know it won't be a pretty sight. Maybe posting on here will keep me honest. I have lost significant weight twice and gained it back both times, which has killed my motivation for doing it again. The truth is though, I don't feel as good as I used to and I don't move as well either. Plus I can't stand to look in the mirror. I imagine I'll be looking to gain 7-8 hp.
