I bit the bullet and bought a NoMar tire changer. (I already have their wheel balancer) I figure that with three Buells in the family, it should pay for itself in a couple of years. Besides, I'm getting too old to be on my knees on the garage floor.
I considered buying a Harbor Freight changer, but by the time I bought Mojo Blocks and either a Mojo bar or NoMar bar, I'd have almost as much money into it, and I'd still have a piece of cheap and flimsy Chinese crap. The people at NoMar have a good bit of pride in their product, and it comes through clearly. Also, a couple of them ride Buells. Seth, who I spoke to rides a City X, while Sue, who I bought the wheel balancer from just got an 1125R.
They also went out of their way to to get the changer out to me ASAP. It was on a UPS truck less than an hour from when I ordered it. I give them two thumbs up!
Now, being a Badwebber, I have no choice but to offer free tire mounting and balancing to anyone with a Buell. I really hate paying out $40-$50 to have tires mounted and balanced, and don't think any one else should either.
If this offer violates any Badweb sponsorship policy, I will promise to send 50% of all money I receive for this service to the site.

I have been tempted to do the same. I use only the the Bar and it works great.

To have the whole set up would be a lot nicer. Good choice also, That Harbor Freight one is a P.O.S. Flimsy and scratches rims VERY well...I wont tell you how I know.

I do almost all the changes for our crew, just did a set of pilot's for Greg (Ducxl)last night....I to charge all the $$$ to switch them....FREE

Crusty,
I bought one in the beginning of the year. A couple friends are track day junkies and I have 3 bikes so we split the jr model.

Once you get the hang of it it works well. I broke off the demount tip pretty quickly as I was using as a lever/demounter.

Make sure you mount it solidly, cuz you'll be pushing like hell. Also a pair of the helping hands and one of the yellow things really make it easy if you're working alone. leave the hands on the bottom and put the yellow thing next to where you start the mount. Don't be afraid to push like hell.

My best is 4 tires in 30 minutes (the rims were off the bike) All sportbike tires. I've changing around 16 so far, the only one I failed on was the rear of a rocket III. Couldn't dismount it and only got 1/2 of the car tire he was mounting on. Apparently the shop that did get that tire on broke their mounting machine, so I didn't feel to bad : )

My only bitch is surface rust. The changer I has a fair amount on the tube that the bead breaker hangs from. other than that it's the best thing I've bought in awhile.

Steve; go to: http://www.nomartirechanger.com/

I bought the classic model. I was hoping to hit the Lottery so I could get the Professional model, but I forgot to buy a ticket.(like that would have made any difference!)
