I've enjoyed lightly pushing my Lightning on the streets and reading roadracing manuals (off the bike).

Any instruction/learning to be had at an Inside Pass day - or mainly just an opportunity to demo different bikes and not eat up your own tires?

Regardless,at $150, it still sounds like a good value!

Would I be better off just saving the $$ for a Bargy or similar school?

Don

Do the Buell. There will be instructors there taking each group out on the track.
Let them know you would like them to help you become a better rider and you will probably get more "help" than you wanted.

PLUS...

They feed you...
T-Shirt....
Knee pucks....

Its all good!

Yup, what Wolfie said.

Bargy is a great school to attend, and if you already have a track day or two under ya it will be much more fun!

Do you really get to spend much time on the demo bikes?

My buddy has an R6. Undoubtedly if he attended, he'd leave the day dissatisfied with his Yammie - but would he be welcome too?

Anybody/Any bike is welcome. You could ride demo bikes for all but the 1st session.

Hey if you have a Ipod or Zune for podcasting. Or you can use your computer for this to. Great intro into what you need and to do for track days.

More than welcome.

I think part of the goal of this program is to get people would would never walk into a Harley dealer, to ride a Buell. It works too. About 1/3 of the people at the event I went to last year were not Buell owners.
