I bought my AlpineStars SP2 gloves a little over a year ago, and have been very pleased with them. -comfy -not too warm not too cold -offered good protection (I think) Although I was hoping that they would last longer then a year but oh well... This is what they currently look like:
I was planning on picking up some Kushitani gloves, but my size was not in stock. So I resorted to buying gloves the way I normally do, find ones that offer the best feel and protection... So I ended up with Joe Rocket GPX gloves, they seem to be on par with the AlpineStars GP-Tech gloves just much more comfortable. Not to mention they seem to have "magic" leather, that is simply indifferent to water. For instance my Joe Rocket jacket has survived for 4 years of daily riding/commuting, rain or shine... And it remains as soft and ductile as the day it was fully broken in.
