Oh yeah NRHS Stage III 1250, just about 100 to the wheels, Chainsikle rearsets, 1200S suspension, clip-ons, etc. It was awesome, it was fun, but it wasn't a Buell. I sold it for my Buell.

On the sporty, I do love them, for me it is the ONLY Harley that gets me excited. The longest running line in the brand. The 1957 has always been my personal favorite.
Heres mine in process. I am working on putting a set of 18 inch laced black rims front and rear on it. A new dash pod, fork gaitors, solid chrome rear shocks and maybe way down the road the 1250 kit.

I have a friend that works for IMZ in Redmond. They want me to come play on their team. You think I am crazy off road with the bikes, you should see the drunk russian make that side car "fly" on forest service roads. I will be visiting Russia this year. If I did go to URAL, this would be the bike.

There is no Mud on that bike, but if you look really close you can tell I do not wash it with a toothbrush, I ride it, it too only gets bathed during service, or when the Hooter girls show up.
now as far as mud on the Ural, check out their website, they even have side hack motocross racing

Here is the first 60,000 reasons why I bought my Buell. 1999 XL12S. Little, dependable, and still in love after 9 years! Hex

I traded my '05 XB9SX for this:

I had it for a month. There is no substitute for a Buell. Mikef5000 is 100% correct. I DO want a pre-04 Sportster Sport to play with.

Brian, as we have discussed before I really want a 2wd Ural. I would use it as a city grocery getter. I like the flat military green.

I still haven't figured out where I would put it. I would hate to have to rent another parking spot : (

Anyone know how difficult it is to get a sidecar endorsement in WA?

They have a side car class and endorsement that you are required to get. Most classes you have to bring your own bike with car mounted. I might just beg off the sporty, and the dirty buell build and do the orange Ural. Think of all the camping gear I can get in that pig!

Hex, are you 6ft 7, or is that bike small?

Your photo sort of looks like a bear on a tricycle.

I'm 6'3" 200lb but I'm wearing all my exo-padding (it's "winter" in Sacramento). Sportsters ARE small bikes, even though they weigh a lot (550+lbs) the weight is down low. I don't take it for long rides, but it is my daily transportation and has been for the last nine years. And yes I own a sidecar rig that bolts on in 10 minutes (Liberty Sport Seattle WA). Oh the romance. Sidecars are fun, but they are a lot of work to drive. For one, if there is any cross wind, you have to fight it with handle bar pressure, you can't lean into the wind like a two wheeler. That said, I'v probably logged 25000 mile on the sportster sidecar combo, and I am proud to own an all American rig. I know, I know, this post is worthless without photos. Maybe this weekend...

Photos of the sidecar would be good...

Then we can see the bear truly riding a tricycle.
