I've dug around a bit and keep finding conflicting info on stock head and base gasket thicknesses. For example, I've read that stock base gaskets can be .011", .014", .016", or .017" once torqued to spec.

So, what are we talking about here for stock head & base gaskets?

.016 and .045 are pretty good numbers to work with.
