Just returned the Press bike (and walked 5 miles home from the dealer thanks to the 'get it on' campaign).

What a great motorcycle. I've been reviewing Charlies for 5 years now - and every year they keep getting that bit better and better.

I found nothin' to bitch about at all, does what it's designed to do very nicely.

Big ass comfortable and capable motorcycle - and now thank goodness the floorboards pivot.

I hated taking it back as much as the Fat Bob.

You got some squid bitchin' about 'harleys' tell them to button it and just go and ride an 08.

If I wasn't doing the gig...whew baby.

I've been on quite a few metrics this year - charlie goes every bit as good - but blingy-er.

Sweet gearbox - click - click - click - selects neutral when stationary no prob.

For conditions around here it's one more cog than it needs.

I had a chance to ride one up to Daytona for Biketoberfest, around for 7 days and back home. I thought the bike was superb and the six speed kicked ass on the highway. I must say that I was a little sore after my jaunt with the Fatboy. I'm not used to sitting in that position for that long of a time. I prefer my Firebolt!

Size.
My legs can do 40 minutes on a Firebolt. Max.

My brother just picked up a red '07 Fatboy w/ 464 miles on it. Nice bike, but he has yet to give me the keys to it....it might have something to do with the last new car he bought and me "shaking it down" for him.
That was only 17 years and 275,000 miles ago on that car though....some guys just know how to hold a grudge.

rode an older fat boy a few years ago during my brother inlaws funeral, which was slow riding most of the time anyway, and not being that tall with short arms, it just felt awkward to control. i have a lot less problems on my 04 ultra than i did that bike. i'm sure on the highway it would have made a bit of difference.
