I had a great day at Pocono yesterday at the Buell demo and today I am feeling especially calm and at peace with the world. It harkens back to a younger day when I was racing dirt bikes once a month or so and I always felt really calm on Monday. I was just wondering if any of you have experienced this phenomenon. I wonder if there is any medical reason for it having to do adrenalin or endorphins, etc?

You went to the edge, you stared over the precipice, and you lived to tell about it. Of course you're calm and relaxed now!

I have the opposite thing happen to me. After being on the track my heart starts to race every time I get into some turns, and it doesn't matter if I'm in my car or on the bike. I start to get all jacked up. My blood pressure also goes thru the roof when I watch racing on TV like I am in control of the bike.....
Just sitting here, looking at a map of Mid Ohio gets me hyper.....

Hmmm... Calm after the storm aye?
Jguy, you must not be married. Marriage has the opposite effect the "day after".

Hey Jersey, did they let you go all out, or did you just have to follow a slow "Pace Bike"?
