Damn! I've spent a TON of time in about 100 or so different ice arenas and never seen anything like that! I've seen them break down and have to be towed off but never any fires. Man, talk about hosing up the ice! Did you notice all the fog in the video? They must have shut down the dehumidifiers and ventilation for a bit. The hydraulic leak must have sprayed right on the exhaust manifold. A new Zamboni will set them back about $50,000 or so depending on if it's electric or propane. Wow! Brad |
