If you can't go without the flat screen, air conditioning, etc.. long enough to go hunting maybe you're missing the point.

Most hunters I know enjoy getting out to the woods. The peace and quiet are wonderful. I have had several hunts that
I viewed as resounding successes where not a single shot was fired.

I'm sure that some people would find the "hunting condo" appealing, but it looks to me more like a club house
for men that want to get away from their SO and hang out with the guys, and that's OK....but it aint hunting.

All thats missing is the "No gurlz alowd" sign.

Although I have been accused of having my laptop in my tree stand I have never done that.
I enjoy, just sitting there, watching, listening and hoping for a deer to walk by, so I can make that perfect, double lung shot.

I've been hunting about 20 years now in Northern Wisconsin and I've never seen a tree stand anything like that before. In fact, I've never stayed at any motels up there that were as nice as that pictured stand.

My deer stand is more like Daves and I like being out in the elements, no matter what they are.

Sitting in a tree stand is the absolutely most relaxing thing a person can do. I come back completely relaxed it is amazing.

Some of my best naps were in a tree stand during archery season. I got in some quality snooze time on one of the couches in the camp house a few times as well.

Heck, wouldn't it just be simpler to call in an air strike if you had spotted a deer than to buy and use that stand/condo?

Heck if it had a kitchen and a pot to pee in, I could see living in it though!

(Camo interior details??? Awww c'mon now)

Don, it would seem you are in the minority of deer hunters in WI(good for you), I saw lots of "hunting condos" when i was up there.
Not as fancy as the one pictured above but I'm sure most of them had room for a big cooler a heater and a TV to watch the Packers games.
Being out in the wild and the elements is a big part of the appeal for me too.
Sitting in a raised shack that looks like the Little Rascals tree house just wouldn't be the same.

hunting doesn't appeal to me, so this sorta goes over my head anyway. but the idea is you sit in an airconditioned/heated room, with big screen tv, table, chairs, lights and a fridge i'm sure..... and you shoot at stuff out the winda's??? so perfectly american. wouldn't it be easier to stay at home a play the xbox?

Acejay,
The people that utilize set ups like in the picture are not really hunters in my mind.
Those people should stay home and play Xbox.
