Whats up with that?

It just started to do this Sunday after my last fill up on my way home from Homecoming and it has done it a few time since.

Where is the short? And how do I fix it?

FYI 2006 ULY with about 17,000 miles on it.

Does it continue to do that after filling up?

Is it just the light that comes on or does it include the fuel odometer counting up too?

This just started to happen after my last fill up so I guess my answer is yes.

The light and fuel trip meter both come on and then after I ride awhile the both go off and then it does it again.

Mine is currently doing it now too. I have an 06 Uly and my gas light is on all the time now. It went through the same progression as your to fully on as it is now.

I haven't taken it to dealer yet.....

Anybody got a clue?

The sensor could be gummed up or faulty. I think the dealer would pull out the fuel pump and take a look at it. Bring it in if it is still under warranty. If not, the pump is not difficult to remove. Just remember to drain the tank first! I have a broken fuel pump at home. I'll take a loot at it to see if the sensor can be replaced w/out replacing the whole assembly.
