Check out this aux HID light. Quite inexpensive for HID.

A couple of these would look cool strapped to a pair of Uly forks.

Those do look pretty good. Reckon a RAM fork mount would do the trick? I've been kicking around the idea of doing a HID conversion on my S for a while now, but already have so many other electronic gizmos on my bike, I really don't have anymore room to mount the ignitors. These would solve that problem nicely. Were you thinking about the 6 or 12 degree models (spot or flood)?

Thanks for sharing.

Evidently I'm brain damaged. I can't see them from your link.

Hey "Fort BestRoad" (fellow CS Lewis fan),

Try the manufacturer:

Seems they're right here in the Portland, OR area.

I'm thinking about the non-HID MR16 set, mounting options to be determined later for my XBShorty.

I like how compact it is...

But...

Is it just me or is the pricing for each (not for a pair)?

Sam

It is priced for each.

I am not planning to get these myself since I already have HID's, but they did look mighty tasty.

These are the aux lights that I've been looking to add to my Uly for a while. The only problem is the mounting but fellow board member Dan Sergison is going to work on machining a set of brackets for the forks for me but I hope that there are others who would like set as well. I talked to the trail tech guys at INTERMOT in Cologne last year and was really impressed with their products. If you do a search on ebay you can find listing for pairs of the lights, typically 1 spot and 1 flood for a good price. Trail tech also makes a smaller HID light that would probably work just as well as aux lights and they make a kit for HID helmet lights too.
