HP/Torque, 120hp / 75lb/ft

Seat height, 31.5 inches

Dry weight, 425lbs. (193kg)

this thing is as tall and heavy as the Uly, but only puts out '9' type torque numbers?!?! if its got a V rod type powerband, its gonna need a lot more than a 5 speed to make it any kind of useable ride.

But there are supercharger kits for the v-rod.. That would add the needed power.

But for that price. I could buy 2 new Buells, 1 new BMWr1200, insurance and fuel to last for years.

I have frequently read the opinions of those that wonder why there is no sportbike built around the V-Rod motor. Well, here it is, folks, the V-Rod sportbike. Hand-built in small quantities, of course the price will be high. Built in mass quantities? How much then? $30K? $25K? To be sold against bikes like the ZX-14, which stickers for $11,499, remember. (The performance-per-dollar ratio of the big Japanese bikes sure must be discouraging for anyone trying to compete in that market.)

Anyway, you gotta give these guys points for trying. The only doubt that bothers me is the claimed dry weight: 425 lbs. for a fully-faired bike with that motor? Hmmm, I dunno... really?
