This stuff is about .60 less then Mobile one a quart. I just picked up three quarts. How do you like this stuff?

Is your engine worth $1.80?

Just a side note: Ducati's come from the factory with Pennzoil synthetics. BMW auto's come filled with Castrol synthetics with the first factory scheduled oil change at 15,000 miles...of course you can change it sooner, but I haven't heard of any engine replacements due to poor oil condition...

All fully synthetic oils are great...some greater than others. Mobile 1 has proven itself in racing as well as in laboratory testing . So has Amsoil.

Depending on how often you change oil, it could cost you almost $9.00 a year more to use Mobile 1...Amsoil may cost you $12-14 more a year.

Personally, I'll spend the extra money on filters and fresh lubricants even though I know from published laboratory testing results that synthetic oils still have lubricating capacity WELL BEYOND 3,000 miles under operating conditions far worse than I'll ever put my bikes through.

.60 cents won't buy you a stale Snicker but a healthy Buell will put a grin on your face for sure!

But the valvoline is actually 20w50, and the mobil 1 is 15w50. Unless you get the mobil 1 vtwin, but I can only find that around here for like $7 per quart, which is a an AWFUL lot more to pay for something that not even Mobil seems to be able to give a straight answer about when asked why the VTwin is better for V Twins...

I tried the Valvoline for 1 oil change, last summer. My engine didn't seize, so it must be O.K.
Personally, I think most oils are good. You just have to change them frequently. 2000 miles at MOST. I even think Harley oil is good stuff. My FLHS had 125,000 miles on it when I sold it.

If memory serves me...

The Mobile VTwin stuff has some additional metals added to the mix specific for the heat nature of air cooled v-twin motors.

IF, you really care, just buy a 5 gallon jug of Amsoil 20-50 Racing Oil, a case of filters and rest easy.
