When there were rumors of the site going offline there was a mild panic and possibly several folks saved what they could from it for their own continued personal enjoyment. So, should the need arise, and should you need to recover any content, it might just be possible to post a request when the time is right and some folks might have some archived data available. I don't, didn't have the storage space or tools to capture it, but I did refer to it somewhat often and referred many people to it. Shoot, I even printed out the front history page and gave it to a service writer at a local Buell/Harley shop once so they'd have some idea about the different Buell models.

A great site, and I hope it gets recovered.

No worm, I think we just lost our host.

I emailed the powers that be to see what we can do. hopefully we'll get a host (free, i hope) and get it back up.

It looks like the site itself is not actually down. You just can't look up it's name for some reason. My own ISP's DNS can't find www.dcbrag.org but if I use one of the name servers listed for dcbrag.org I can find it.

After finding it's IP address (204.232.5.159) you can view the site by typing http://204.232.5.159/ in the address bar.

It looks like some kind of weird DNS problem.

DCBrag should check and make sure they renewed the domain name! It might have expired and that's why it can't be looked up.

Believe dcbrag.org finally lost its free ride and that it’s fate was sealed when José recently mentioned it in Fuell™©®¥.

The WayBackMachine looks kind of spotty -- but some other remnants are here:
Maybe some day I’ll redo the History Page, but for right now I gotta go moose huntin’ in Maine (photographically speaking).
over & out.....
damn, life on the net ain't permanent -- looks like I've been reset too

yeah that was the kiss of death, kind of like Cycle World putting "is this the Buell that will win the Daytona 200" on the cover then going to Daytona and no Buells raced......

BadWeB would be happy to provide a permanent home for the DC BRAG site. Good stuff, too good to not keep forever for posterity.

Let me know. : )

what a nice group of fellas buellers are! thanks for the links guys! i hope to see dcbrag take one of you guys up on that offer, it'd be a damb shame to see such a fine site pass on. incidently, i was able to teach my wife enough about the models to recognize any buell but the various lightning models, it's a start. before last night everything was a firebolt!

When the DC BRAG finds a permanent site, you should advise whomever runs the X1 Files website.

I learned about the DC BRAG site being down when I used their link concerning a technical issue.
