Hello Fellow Riders! I've decided to take Friday off from work. I want to get in a ride that will do my soul some good. My new Street Rod needs some twisties, and although I know I'm not going to find them close by - I'm willing to spend a little freeway time to get someplace that will make me happy. I'm looking for suggestions for a day ride someplace that's going to be somewhat challenging to ride (i.e. - not our usual straight-shots with interspersed traffic lights) - maybe some greenery along the way, etc. Where does everyone like to go? I'd be willing to ride for I would say up to 2 or 3 hours to get to the destination, which I know has to get me someplace decent. Leaving at 7 or 8 in the morning with 2 or three hours there gives me a good day riding, while still being home in time for dinner with the wifey. I'm on the North Side of Chicago - maybe 10 minutes from 90/94. Any and all suggestions welcome. Thanks Speedy |

Holy hill is right between the lower and upper KM -- a map quest dealeo will getcha there pronto do Road X and Piper Road, for sure (good fun, pretty technical) earlier the better, before the traffic builds, fridays close to the end of summer could be a bit silly |
