As of Monday, i am no longer a resident of Wisconsin. I have accepted a job in the Phoenix area, and will be starting on the 23rd. Unfortunately I will need to wait for about 6 weeks until a friend hauls my bike out. Don't know how far I plan on traveling every day, but will most likely spend Tuesday night in Colorado and end up in Arizona either Wednesday or Thursday. Looking forward to meeting some of the Badwebbers in the Phoenix area even though riding will have to wait for me. |

Hey, I may be joining you before too long. I'll take the heat and drought over this crappy Wisconsin weather. My family has been bugging the 5hit out of me to move back, and I'm starting to see their logic. |

Welcome to the valley of the sun! Check out the AZ Stormfronts and the AZ Springfast for rides, tales, and pics of some of the twisty roads you're about to encounter. It may take a bit for you to get used to the heat, but like everyone says...its a dry heat! |

Quinn, As a City Planner, your about 35 years to late for Phoenix! Oh, do you speak SpanEngish? Hope they're paying you well, otherwise you'll have to live in a tree-house (if you can find one). <smile> Cheers, -SD: |

I've been from Minneapolis a few times on wheels. The scenery isn't as good, but it seems to be quicker to take 35 South to the 40 in Oklahoma City and head west. You would then take 17 south to Phoenix. It's all straight roads and some of it's boring, but it is quicker if time is a factor... |

time isn't a factor, and I have never been to Colorado and i have always wanted to go. there are some other places along the way i would like to see as well. I don't like to travel long distances if I feel like I am on a schedule. seems to add to the stress of it. want to be able to stop when i want and see some of the sights. it is a beautiful country, it is not worth racing through it. |
