Things you learn going 60 through the corner.... 1. Just cause it sticks like glue at 50 doesnt mean 60 is a good idea. 2. Your butt hydroplanes on grass pretty good from 60 to 40 then its tumble weed time. 3. The real pain doesnt start til the day after. 4. Make sure your dealer has your parts in stock so you can replace them sooner. 5. Dont tell your wife what you just attempted. |

Things can go wrong fast at 60!!!! Glad you made it out alive. Tumbleweeds ????? I never ever seen one of them!!!! Then again I bet you have never seen a snow storm in May either. |

Well... I know what not to do now.. glad to see that you will make it on a bike soon, and keep it under 60 from now on.. lol Hay newfie... one thing Michigan has that newfoundland doesn't... yesturday it was 84 out.. and friday it will be 41... there is an old saying here... If you don't like the weather in Michigan... Wait 10 minutes it will prolly change. |

Garret, There is a really nice set of S1 white lightning plastics on e-bay right now if you need some new stuff. $200 for tank, headlight and fairing and tail section. Not my auction just a good deal IMO. |
