Author Message   0678 Posted on Monday, January 04, 2021 - 04:42 pm:        My front caliper was leaking fluid. I tore it down and it looks like the pistons are plated and the plating is peeling off. There is process to remove chrome plating without hurting the alum but dont know the details. Our city chrome shop was going to do a big 2 foot piece for me for around $50. The plating was flaking off. I bought a new set from BarnBuell. Easy transaction, fast shipping. I haven't had time to install them yet.
