Does anyone know the differences between the two?

I get that the tuber has the grenade plate and just looking at barnnet's website there is a different part number for the tuber "extra plate kit" vs the xb clutch...but i wonder if there is actually any difference.

I ask because my 06 uly clutch (installed a new barnett clutch 3k miles ago, worked great, now it doesn't) is giving me fits and i can't find any pro shop within 100 miles that will take a look at it. But, I've got a blown up m2 engine sitting in the shop and it looks the same internally to me. Maybe the tooth count is different, i don't know.

Before i go through the trouble of robbing the basket of the m2 to put in the uly, to see if that might fix the problem, i wanted to know if anyone had a reason why it won't work?
