I just recent broke my the engine shift lever part number: T0225.01A1 part number 4 in the attached picture. I might have had the pinch nut too tight but it developed a crack where it pinches the spline shaft and vibrated off leaving me stuck in 1st gear. Though I was able to get it back on and limp home. When I bought the bike it came with the boomerang shifter with a nice milled aluminum part from American Sport Bike along with a cracked factory part. I am looking for something similar but in the style of the newer shifter. I would just machine this part but I wouldn't know where to start when making the spline other than maybe making a broach using cut up and sharpened shift shafts and that would seem uneconomical.
