I need to replace the ridiculous sportster footpegs. Have found a set of S2 lowering mounts and was going to bolt on Millennium pegs with a set of OEM springs. Have just located a company named Knight Design, any experience with them? |

Their stuff is popular with the Uly and 1125 guys. Good parts from what I understand. |

Another option...S3 foot pegs. |

...or any male-mount footpeg will work. Find something made for an HD that you like, it should pin right on. |

Tripper...I have you're exact same setup. No complaints. It was the first thing I did when I bought my latest S2. Those damn HD pegs are no meant for a performance bike. There is zero feeling coming through the pegs. |

I've spent plenty of time looking around online for other pegs to fit my bike(that don't cost a ton). Any of the random HD/Sportster pegs I've come across are usually only sillier than what I'm starting with. I've definitely seen a lot of people using the Knight Design pegs on their XBs, they were pretty commonly used. Let us know what you come up with. |

Dave, I have had these on a couple of my tube frames and liked them. They have good feel through them, and look good on the bike. http://www.ebay.com/itm/HARLEY-DAVIDSON-OEM-SPORTS TER-V-ROD-FOOTPEGS-FOOT-PEGS-/332068076288?hash=it em4d50ccbb00:g:UHQAAOSwo4pYWWWf&vxp=mtr |

I don't have a good pic, but on my S2T the pegs I'm running are the stock pegs but with the rubber removed. I also cross drilled them. They give you a .5 to .75 drop too with the rubber removed. Matt

Matt: Are those the pegs that used to be about 2 inches thick in rubber? |

I don't know what brand these folding pegs are that were on my S2 when I got it, but I really like them. Doesn't matter if I'm wearing riding boots or soft soled shoes, my feet stay right where they are and don't vibrate off.

Yes, the big ugly soft ones that came stock. I think the stripped down ones, like I have, is what the race team used back in the day. Matt |

Went with Knight Designs 1 inch drop. Goergous pieces of metal they sent me and they went on easy. About 2 inch drop from the sportster stock peg, 1 inch lower then the Buell MILLENIUM peg. Test ride after the heat abates. |
