I like the look of the chin spoiler and am about to pull the trigger from one from Al at American Sport Bike. However, someone pointed out that the chin spoiler will not fit and earlier bike due to the rear exhaust pipe (over the top) will hit the chin spoiler on that side.

Al pointed out that he has seen S1's with chin spoilers. I could have sworn I had too, but a search of the Googles does not bring up a S1 with the lower fairing, and the early exhaust.

Am I missing something?

i prefer a s1 without a chinspoiler, but speed of color has a short chin spoiler for tubefames which might look very nice on a s1
