So looking for some opinions.
I know it is wise to replace these but here is my question
Instead of the torque head could I use a allen socket as long as I use the correct grade and theres clearance what would be the down side?

the TORX head bolt has a much bigger shoulder than a typical allen head. I would be concerned that it would not spread the load properly like the TORX heads bolt.

Every rotor I replace I buy new correct hardware, it's "cheap" insurance!

Most of my Buells have the wave rotors by braking, really happy with them, but I always have Al add in new hardware as well.
