Just recently picked this from a fellow Badwebber along with a 96S2. There are some stats I have recently found about this bike that have surprised me. Currently no plans for the bike but to keep it safe.

A few more. It is a little rough, but has been ridden quite a bit about 30,000 miles worth. Now to start finding some of the original pieces.

NICE!!!

I would love to have make and model numbers for the emergency lights and any controls they have, for my Defender resurrection... : )

Great save!

Dean,

Glad to see you posting some pics! GREAT SAVE, on both the S2 and the M2!

The flyscreen on the M2 is original. It shows the cutout for the (police) lights. I wish I could find an S3 windshield with cutout, as used on the Defenders, but I haven't had any luck on that. Needless to say your flyscreen is a definite keeper! Well, the whole bike is, too...

It looks like your Peace Keeper has some accessories on it. The lights in the sides of the tail section are not original, as the forcewinder is not as well. What strikes me as 'unusual' is the accessory tach kit and the accessory front fender mount. I don't recall any 'accessories' being installed on the Escort Bikes. I just checked my old pics and, at least for the tach kit, I can tell that isn't original to the Peace Keepers - but it's DEFINITELY worth hanging onto...

As mentioned in one of my Email's, don't worry, I'll make sure that all of the decals (M2 Peace Keeper, S1W Enforcer, S3T Defender) are available - from the original supplier, no less - when I finally get it all handled. Hopefully I'll be visiting Ratbuell in the near future, which means I should be able to visit the sign guy - armed with all necessary information - over my Christmas break.

One question I have for you that I haven't Emailed. What is the rear fender on your bike made of? Is it fiberglass or plastic? I know the white paint on it is not original - so it might not even be the original rear fender, which might remove it from being a data point...

Definitely a great save!

The previous owner has the original fender brace, and speedo mount. The fender is glass, is that correct? He also has the original fender, I didn't think I needed it when I first picked the bike up.

I need to find a breadbox and muffler for it.

There were 6 of the M2's built. They were built on 4/8 and 4/9.

More interesting . . .they were six consecutive VIN's AND consecutive order numbers.

That'd be very unusual.

After looking closer at this rear fender could it be an S2 fender, It is longer on the forward belt cover area than an 98S3 fender that I have.

The S2 will be back on the road soon, probably not the M2. Hopefully will make it out to Docs in the next month.
