As many of you know, I'm moving to Quebec shortly & my beloved M2 will be an absolute nightmare to get registered. As it's already been rebuilt after an accident it has a block on the transfer of title here in France.
My plan is to break it & bring a crate full of "used motorcycle parts" with me.

So if any of you fall over a Tuber with a blown engine or even just a frame with Canadian papers, I'll be looking out for a project this summer.

Grumpy that shouldn't be a big problem there has to be Canadians who have gotten caught up in the chopper craze that have a frame laying around.

Most Canadians are too smart for chopping a tuber! Our tubers have never dropped in price quite as far as in the US either but if you watch kijiji in Quebec and Ontario would might run across a frame or a complete bike for a decent price.

I hope that is true but then again Grumpy will be looking for the tuber that was owned by one of the few not so smart Canadians.

I wish you luck my friend
Tubers are rare on east coast of Canada
Buy a frame and title out of the states off ebay or someone here. Import to Canada and problem solved

Yeah I get what you're saying, but I don't really want to turn up as an immigrant & immediately start importing from the US.

I'll likely have enough on my plate getting established & settled beforehand, so canadian papers will simplify things for me.

Ok, I was cruising kijiji yesterday for stuff and saw a frame ('98 I think) and some assorted body parts for sale in Ontario. Apparently there is a Buell chopper in the same area that brings us mayor Rob Ford!! Not surprising I guess.
