Does he use the stock seat pan?
You probably answered that but sometime I suffer from CRS (can't remember shit).
I'm going to try and swing by sometime before mid October and give it a look see.
Mortgage company took all my pennies right now, I'm afraid.
They're good that way.

He does use a stock seat pan.

here is how the process worked for me;

I took photos of me on the bike with the stock seat from multiple angles. sent in my height, weight, inseam, reach on bike, the type of riding I do, passenger or no passenger. all of the details that would go into making a proper seat for someone on a bike. then he sent out a sample of material and stitching colors for me to choose from, mailed back the samples and made my selections..then waited...yeah, unfortunately it takes a while. like I said, you call up, get in line, then when its your turn he works on your seat. but it is worth it! especially with winter coming up, might as well wait while riding season "narrows", it doesn't ever really end right?, the most important question I believe is.."would I buy another seat from him?"...the answer is a very easy YES... my X1 has a corbin on it, hate it! need one of his seats for that bike, my S2 has a stock seat, gonna need one for that bike, might as well get one for the S1.....

Steve, come on out! anytime, we will take the bike out for a ride.., let you check out the seat for your self, then we can throw something on the grill!

A stock S1 or X1 seat wouldn't be too much of a loss.
I wonder who it was at Buell who hated testicles so much?
