Anyone here have lowers on their S2 and a steering stabilizer? I bought a set, haven't taken off the tank to fit them yet, but just eye=balling them up, it looks like I would need to cut out a section to get the stabilizer to clear. Any information greatly appreciated.

Mike

Thinking about the stabilizer on my S1W...and the lowers on my S2...yes, you'll need to cut.

Ouch.

Are you pushing an S2 hard enough to need one? Have you checked your neck bearings? My S1W, with the shorter gearing, is much more front-end-light than my S2, even with the Thunderstorm conversion. I was well over the century mark today coming home on the S2...and no headshake, even banking into turns labeled 45 at something over 80.

Yeah, I have had it off and on. Neck bearing are fine. Different bike with it on and I can't go back. I do a lot of canyon runs down here in SoCal.

Just leave the lowers off rather than cut them. After all, you don't really need them in your climate.

I know I don't need them now, but I ride year round and in winter season, we still get down into the 30's here at night (but never any snow!) and the wind chill gets me. I guess I will put them up for sale, I was kind of on the fence with them, but I certainly do not want to cut unobtainium parts.

Thanks all!

Mike

Trouble,

If you sell the lowers, I might be interested, if they'll fit on an S3.
