It all started when I got hit from behind last week..startled me much more than actual damage to the bike. The right turn signal got busted and so I replaced the one (american sport bike) signal with the stock one-temporarily. It worked for a few rides and then suddenly all of them stopped working. Now when I press the turn signal button, there is no ticking sound and no lights. I checked the fuse..it's fine. All other electrical systems seem to be fine. Is there anything else I can check..any input is much appreciated! |

Do you have a resistor on there from you old turn signals, if they were led? |

No..Don't have a resistor. It was the regular turn signal from American Sport Bike. Thanks for the suggestions Loose1 & Olddog. How would I check the flasher...guess I could replace it and see? |

Just replace it, it's cheap. You can get one at Advance Auto (or similar), just take the old one with you. |

Thanks to Kc_zombie for the advice..replaced the flasher and it's all good now. The only hitch was that advance auto parts didn't have the exact specs flasher with a mounting tab. I got the closest one and fabricated a tab myself..the Dremel was put to good use. Thanks all |
